Overview

The Ministry of Public and Business Service Delivery and Procurement is seeking a Senior Solution Architect – CRM to join the Enterprise Technology & Digital Standards (ETS) team in Toronto. In this role, you will define and govern the architecture of enterprise-wide Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and strategic objectives. You will lead design sessions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and provide trusted technical advisory services to senior stakeholders across multiple lines of business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define the structure, relationships, and layering of CRM solutions, identifying reusable components, quality metrics, and interface specifications across large distributed environments
  • Design, implement, and govern enterprise-wide Microsoft Dynamics 365 platforms, including customization, security models, and multi-tenant configurations
  • Architect and implement Microsoft Power Platform solutions including Model-Driven Apps, Power Automate workflows, Power Pages, and Business Process Flows
  • Design and implement Azure-based enterprise solutions leveraging Azure Integration Services, App Services, Functions, and API Management
  • Establish enterprise integration architectures using scalable patterns across multiple business systems, including MuleSoft and API-led connectivity
  • Design and document REST-based API architectures and govern enterprise integration standards across the organization
  • Develop and maintain Dynamics 365 extensions including Plugins, PCF Controls, Custom APIs, and Azure-hosted components
  • Lead architecture reviews, design sessions, and stakeholder workshops to validate solution requirements and achieve consensus across business units
  • Translate complex technical concepts and architecture decisions into clear, business-focused recommendations for executive and senior stakeholder audiences
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Cyber Security, Infrastructure, Integration, and Delivery teams to ensure alignment with enterprise standards
  • Develop architecture standards, reusable design patterns, technology roadmaps, and solution review processes
  • Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and direction to project and delivery teams throughout implementation
Must-Have Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Solution Architecture, including design, implementation, customization, and governance of enterprise-wide platforms
  • Demonstrated experience designing and implementing Microsoft Power Platform solutions, including Model-Driven Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, and Business Process Flows
  • Experience architecting and implementing Azure-based enterprise solutions, including Azure Integration Services, App Services, Functions, and API Management
  • Demonstrated experience designing Enterprise Integration Architectures and implementing scalable integration patterns across multiple business systems
  • Knowledge and experience integrating enterprise applications using MuleSoft and other enterprise integration technologies, including API-led connectivity and service orchestration
  • Experience designing and implementing Dynamics 365 Security Models, including business units, security roles, access controls, and data segregation strategies
  • Demonstrated experience designing multi-tenant enterprise platforms supporting multiple lines of business through configurable and reusable solution components
  • Experience designing, documenting, and governing REST-based API architectures and enterprise integration standards
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience implementing and optimizing Power Automate workflows and business process orchestration solutions
  • Experience developing and governing Dynamics 365 extensions, including Plugins, PCF Controls, Custom APIs, and Azure-hosted custom components
  • Knowledge and experience in Microsoft Dataverse Architecture, including data modeling, entity design, security models, and data management strategies
  • Knowledge and experience in Cloud Security Architecture and Identity & Access Management (IAM), including Microsoft Entra ID, role-based access controls, and enterprise security best practices
  • Demonstrated experience in Enterprise Data Architecture, including common data models, data integration, migration strategies, and information governance
  • Demonstrated experience leading stakeholder consultations with business, architecture, security, and technical teams to define and validate solution requirements
  • Experience presenting architecture assessments, solution options, and technical risks to governance committees and executive audiences
Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of object-oriented analysis and design techniques
  • Experience developing enterprise architecture deliverables based on Ontario Government Enterprise Architecture methodologies, processes, and practices
  • Knowledge and understanding of Information Management principles, concepts, policies, and practices
  • Experience designing detailed functional and technical requirements for new and existing business solutions
  • Experience leading multi-tier application infrastructure design, documentation, and configuration for medium or large corporate implementations
  • Experience designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining large complex CRM applications, workflow processes, and dynamic forms
  • Knowledge and experience designing external-facing and internal-facing digital solutions using Power Pages and related Microsoft technologies
Work Environment

This is a fully onsite role based at 222 Jarvis St., Toronto, Ontario, with a 5-days-per-week onsite requirement. No security clearance is required. The successful consultant will work within a collaborative enterprise environment engaging regularly with business sponsors, product owners, Enterprise Architecture, Cyber Security, Infrastructure, and Delivery teams.
