Overview

The Government Services Integration Cluster, under the Ministry of Public and Business Service Delivery and Procurement, is seeking a Senior Product Manager to join their team in Toronto. In this role, the consultant will lead product planning and execution across the full product lifecycle, bridging the gap between business strategy and technical delivery. The successful candidate will work closely with engineering teams, stakeholders, and clients to drive data and AI-driven product initiatives forward.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary liaison between clients and development teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the product lifecycle
  • Translate business strategy into product strategy and subsequently into high-level requirements and prototypes
  • Own and execute the product roadmap, scoping and prioritizing activities based on business and customer impact
  • Gather and prioritize product and customer requirements while defining and championing the product vision
  • Manage all aspects of the product throughout its lifecycle, including customer feedback, requirements, and issue resolution
  • Serve as Product Owner in Agile ceremonies, working closely with engineering teams to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resources
  • Provide insights and collateral to stakeholders on specific areas of the product
  • Identify and fill product gaps, generate ideas to improve customer experience, and drive growth
  • Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners
  • Drive product launches in collaboration with executives and other product management team members
  • Evaluate promotional plans to ensure consistency with product line strategy and effective messaging
  • Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding across the organization
Must-Have Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in product management
  • Demonstrated experience in the data and AI domain
  • Proven Agile and traditional project management experience, including acting as Product Owner in Agile ceremonies
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to create alignment across diverse groups
  • Strong ability to translate business strategy into product strategy and high-level requirements
  • Experience acting as a liaison between clients and development teams
  • Proven track record of owning and executing a product roadmap end-to-end
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in an Agile, fast-paced, data-driven environment
Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Experience working with large-scale distributed systems involving many stakeholders and clients
Work Environment

This is a fully onsite role based at 222 Jarvis St, Toronto, with 5 days per week in the office required. No security clearance is required. The team operates in an Agile, fast-paced environment with a strong focus on data-driven decision making.
