The Business Analyst – Senior will provide leadership and expertise in requirements gathering, system analysis, and agile delivery within the Children, Youth & Social Services Cluster. The resource will work onsite at the identified OPS office location, supporting enterprise initiatives and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities
  • Lead cross-functional teams through requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement, and facilitated workshops.
  • Perform system analysis, design, testing, and implementation aligned with enterprise standards.
  • Define and manage user stories, support sprint planning and backlog refinement, and ensure alignment with business needs.
  • Conduct user research, develop personas, and create journey maps to enhance service delivery and user experience.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications and prototypes for stakeholder consultation.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to manage incidents, triage issues, and ensure timely resolution.
  • Recommend system enhancements and support change management and training initiatives.
  • Prepare comprehensive system documentation, business cases, and user manuals.
  • Support AI-driven solutions to improve operational efficiency and decision-making.
Must Have Skills
  • Proven experience working within agile frameworks, including writing and refining user stories and managing product backlogs.
  • Experience conducting user research, developing personas, and creating journey maps.
  • Strong system analysis and design experience with web-based technologies, databases, and COTS applications such as Cúram.
  • Experience collaborating with technical teams for incident management and issue triaging.
  • Experience implementing and optimizing AI-driven solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC methodologies and systems integration.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
