The Report Developer – Senior will support Justice Technology Services in migrating approximately 270 operational reports from legacy court systems to the new CDT solution. The resource will work onsite and contribute to assessment, design, development, testing, and knowledge transfer activities aligned with OPS standards.
Responsibilities
- Participate in reporting needs assessments to evaluate existing operational reports.
- Define and execute migration approaches to Power BI Desktop or Power BI Report Builder.
- Design and develop reports and dashboards in compliance with OPS standards, including AODA and WCAG 2.0 Level AA.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries (T-SQL, PL-SQL) and DAX calculations.
- Build and deploy data models optimized for business intelligence and analytics.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues identified during testing and validation phases.
- Support ETL processes and data integration activities.
- Provide documentation, knowledge transfer, and technical guidance to OPS staff.
Must Have Skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Report Builder.
- Minimum 4 years of experience writing SQL queries (T-SQL, PL-SQL).
- Minimum 2 years of experience writing DAX and performing data modeling within Power BI.
- Experience building, testing, and implementing complex reports and dashboards.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills within business intelligence environments.
- Experience preparing documentation and delivering knowledge transfer.
