The Software Developer – Junior will support the Community Services Cluster by developing, maintaining, and enhancing web-based and enterprise applications. The resource will work onsite 5 days per week and contribute to release, sustainment, and infrastructure support activities.

Responsibilities
  • Translate technical system specifications into working, tested applications including coding, unit testing, and debugging.
  • Develop enhancements and troubleshoot performance issues in web-based applications and Windows services.
  • Support application releases, infrastructure sustainment activities, and urgent priority initiatives.
  • Develop applications using relational databases and ensure data integrity and performance optimization.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum activities and collaborate with QA specialists and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with AODA and WCAG accessibility standards.
  • Support Oracle E-Business modules including GL, AR, AP, Collections, and Inventory where required.
Must Have Skills
  • Experience developing and debugging applications using C# .NET Framework 4.8+ and MS Visual Studio 2017/2022.
  • Experience with Oracle 19c, PL/SQL, SQL, and XML.
  • Experience working with Azure DevOps, Git version control, and YAML pipelines.
  • Experience developing client-side applications using Angular (v17+), TypeScript, RXJS, NGRX, Bootstrap, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Experience troubleshooting performance issues in web-based systems and working with relational databases.
  • Knowledge of AODA and WCAG AA compliance requirements.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills with ability to work in team environments.
  • Previous public sector experience in organizations of similar size and complexity.
