Rate: $104/hour
The Information Architect – Senior will provide professional information architecture expertise and lead comprehensive architecture assessments and complex reviews to support systems and infrastructure needs for the Land & Resources Cluster. The resource will work in a hybrid model and ensure alignment with OPS enterprise architecture standards and checkpoint requirements.
Responsibilities
- Define, identify, and document information architecture requirements with clients and obtain I&IT management approval.
- Conduct complex information architecture reviews and assessments to support changing enterprise priorities and initiatives.
- Develop information architecture artefacts including conceptual and logical data models and related documentation.
- Lead stakeholder consultation, facilitation, and consensus building, including reporting to multiple stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain information architecture policies, standards, and specifications aligned with OPS guidelines and best practices.
- Support governance requirements by developing checkpoint deliverables and required architecture artefacts.
- Provide architecture interpretation advice and expertise to project and enterprise I&IT teams, client management, and external contractors.
- Participate in sensitive investigations related to information architecture and data/information standards.
- Support information governance frameworks and integration strategies to improve data trustworthiness, availability, and utility.
Must Have Skills
- Ability to define, identify and describe information architectural requirements with clients and obtain I&IT management approval.
- Ability to complete complex information architecture reviews and assessments to support new and changing enterprise priorities.
- Ability to provide situation-specific information architecture interpretation advice to project and enterprise teams.
- Ability to lead and/or participate in highly sensitive information architecture investigations.
- Knowledge and experience creating information architecture artefacts such as conceptual and logical data models.
